Lots of things are just around the corner, but almost none of them closer than WPC 2013! We're pleased to be working with some of the fantastic speakers for this year's conference- it's going to be a great event. And Houston is a great city!

Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns at Stages Repertory Theatre: From edgy, hard-hitting new works to classic crowd-pleasers, the exceptional work at Stages Rep had got you covered. True to its name, there are 2 theatres in the Stages complex, so there is always a lot going on. Love hits of the 60s? Catch the latest installment in the Marvelous Wonderettes series! Songs like "River Deep, Mountain High", "Dancing in the Street", and a whole lotta heart.
Agatha Christie's The Hollow at The Alley: The Alley has been part of the Houston theatre scene for over 60 years. Known for having a core company of actors and designers that carry through the season, The Alley has the opportunity to take advantage of the relationships between consistent colleagues to create great theatre. As part of their Summer Chills series, the company brings forth "The Hollow"- a classic Agatha Christie mystery, sure to keep you guessing to the end!
Wicked Sarofim Hall at the Hobby Center: A theatrical juggernaut, the national touring company of Wicked will be soaring into the Hobby Center just in time for the end of WPC. If you've not yet seen this gem, head over to get the story on what happened in Oz BEFORE Dorothy, Toto, and their friends showed up. A high-flying score and tons of theatrical magic make it an unforgettable evening.
From My Hometown at the Ensemble Theatre: The Ensemble Theatre has been bringing professional productions that explore and celebrate the African American experience to Houston audiences since 1976. As one of the longest operating and largest theatres to do so, the Ensemble Theatre holds not only artistic but cultural significance. This summer, From My Hometown follows the quest of three guys from different places who dream of performing at the legendary Apollo Theatre, featuring hits like "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" and "Chain Gang".
