Team Ovation doesn't only travel near and far to help people improve their communication skills. As professional actors, we're on the road for show business, too. See where you can catch our team members busy on stage, screen, and in the director's chair this summer and fall:
Kerri Garbis, President
Ilyse Robbins, Training Consultant
Kerri is performing the one-woman play I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti at Stoneham Theatre. Based on the memoir by Giulia Melucci and adapted by Jacques Lamarre, the play combines humor, good food, and relationship reminiscing. Bonus: Kerri cooks (and serves!) a full Italian meal to 8 people who purchase seats on stage. And the whole affair is directed by our own Ilyse Robbins.
Ilyse continues to bring her directing (and choreographing) talents to Stoneham Theatre with Dames at Sea in the Fall. She'll also be teaching Musical Theatre Performance at Northeastern University.
Christopher Burris, Training Consultant
If you're in or around NYC, you can still catch Ducklings, directed by Christopher at JACK in Brooklyn. The New York Times said, "... it's almost impossible not to applaud their spirited, high-energy display." You can see it through Saturday, 6/10.
Jason Bayle, Training Consultant
Jason will be appearing right in your living room on an episode of the serio/comedy CLAWS on TNT. Check out this new show starring Niecy Nash, Carry Preston, Judy Reyes, and on July 2 — Jason Bayle!
Bridget Beirne, Marketing Specialist
Bridget will be performing in Constellations at the Peterborough Players, a premier professional theatre in the region since 1933. Constellations follows the relationship between two people — Roland and Marianne — over space and time.
Tom Frey, Director of Training
Tom has a full line-up of shows at the Peterborough Players, from a classic comedy to a splashy musical and more. He'll be playing roles made famous by Clark Gable, Gene Wilder (and Matthew Broderick), among others.
